Motorcycle Training Day
In Partnership with Bike2Bike Motorcycle Training, on Saturday June 27th we had a day devoted to motorcycle training for anyone wanting to get started in motorcycling or to progress onwards to a restricted or full licence.
It was well supported and a lot of people had all their queries answered with regards to taking a CBT, the new test procedures and questions about different licence options.
There were training machines to try out under the guidance of the Bike2Bike instructors and lots of bikes to try out for size for when you've passed your test!
The sun shone all day and everyone had a great time. There was even FREE refreshments (Cheers Steve!) and the comments have been so favourable that we are planning on making it a regular event!
 
Pro-Bike win Yamaha Dealer Award!
We are proud to announce that we have won a Yamaha Dealer Award at a presentation ceremony at Yamaha's headquarters in Japan.
The award was given for the major contribution we have made to Yamaha's motorcycle sales and customer satisfaction during 2008.

Welcome
to Pro-Bike, Berkshire's prestigious Suzuki and Yamaha dealer.
Pro-Bike
is an independent motorcycle dealership and first opened
in January 1996.
Our
first premises were a small industrial unit on Brook Way
in Newbury, selling used motorcycles and carrying out servicing
and repairs.
In
those far off days we probably had a total stock of just
20 bikes.
In
June of that year we took on a second unit in Brook Way
to house our workshop separately and give us a bit more
showroom space in the original building.
The old
site was quickly outgrown as our satisfied customer base
grew beyond all expectation, and in January 1997 we moved
to our present site in Newtown Road, Newbury.
By
comparison this site (an ex- car showroom and petrol station)
was huge and allowed us to stock a lot more bikes, as well
as providing the room required to start selling clothing.
We
probably had around 50 bikes at any one time. These consisted
of both used machines and brand new imports.
In 2000
the showroom was extended and we were given a Yamaha franchise.
As a Yamaha
main dealer we stocked their complete range as well as an
ever growing selection of quality used machinery.
The
Parts and Clothing departments were moved into a separate
building adjacent to the main showroom on the site during
this period, allowing them increased stock levels too.
The business grew steadily over the
next few years until in April 2005 we took on the Suzuki
franchise to run alongside the already established Yamaha
range.
With
an ever expanding business we had to eventually completely
refurbish both buildings, with extensive remodeling to create
yet more showroom space.
This
entailed moving the Parts and Clothing departments into
the main showroom, along with the Suzuki range and our used
stock.
The
Yamaha range was moved into the old Parts building, which
was completely gutted and refurbished and is now a Premier
Yamaha showroom.
We
can now offer a choice of over 100 new Yamaha's and Suzukis,
along with over 150 quality used machines.
The
new clothing department stocks clothing from Teknic and
Ixon, Shark, Shoei, Arai and AGV helmets and if you want something
special we can always order it for you.
We
stock a full range of gloves, boots, luggage, and waterproofs.
We are a Motrax
stockist for all the bolt on bits you may need and sell
performance exhausts, brake pads etc.
Our parts
department stock all the usual genuine service items for
both Suzuki and Yamahaand can order
parts for just about any make of bike.
