The YZ125 is famous for its light handling which makes it easier
to control and easier to ride. Combined with an ultra-responsive
two-stroke engine, the end product is a highly competitive lightweight
that’s hard to beat.
Major improvements for 2008 include new fork outer tubes, redesigned
fork protectors and a new front axle which reduce weight for lighter
steering. Delivering even better braking feel – together
with reduced unsprung weight – is a new lightweight front
brake caliper and wave-type front and rear discs. And for quicker
acceleration the YZ125’s potent two-stroke engine is equipped
with a new reed-valve spacer.
